Likewise, thanks to the certification conditions of the integrated devices, we declare that they will be compatible with the C4 System within the defined scope. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Quality requirements are demanded from the very development, architecture building and foundations of the software product. The C4 System is designed to meet even the most demanding market requirements. The development team follows predefined special procedures and development rules while continuously checking and testing the results. Subsequently, an in-depth documentation is produced, describing the product and its use in detail. The installation manual describes how to install the C4 System, while the integration manual is a guide to integrating an external device ith the software product.

Once development is complete, the product is tested by the QA department, which is responsible for ensuring that it meets all defined criteria and therefore performs as expected. When a bug is discovered, the product is returned to the development team. This ensures that the flaws in the system are fixed before it is actually released to the commercial market.

UPDATE AND UPGRADE

Increasing the quality of the C4 System and thus increasing customer satisfaction is also ensured by regular software updates, which are implemented by releasing software packages - Service Packs. These remove any reported errors on existing installations of a given version of the C4 System. In most cases these are bug fixes, a quality or other improvement, or an addition, change or modification of a specific version. All Service Packs can be downloaded free of charge at any time for the respective software version.

In addition to updating the particular version of the C4 System, we also release a completely new version of the software product on a regular basis each year. Each version upgrade expands on the functionality of the previous software product version and has features that bring benefits to its users. A version upgrade is a software package that uninstalls an old version of a software product and installs a new one. In addition to a version upgrade, a customer can also opt for an edition upgrade. This is a one-time upgrade of an edition of a software product that expands on the functionality of an existing edition of that product within a single version. With an edition upgrade, the relevant modules of the C4 System are activated via a license key.

SUPPORT

Our support department continuously takes care of the product quality requirements. It provides technical support and expert assistance in the installation and deployment of the C4 System on your projects. After completing the relevant training, you can contact the support team for the next two years after the release of the software version. Anyone can request technical support after completing the basic technical training available on our new Education web portal (https://my.c4portal.com/edu/). The training provides essential information important, for example, when installing the software, ensuring a smooth and fast implementation on your project.

CERTIFICATION

We go even further with the quality requirement. It applies not only to the development of the product itself, but we also require its attributes to be met during the distribution and subsequent installation of the C4 System at the end user's site. In order to be able to provide the same level of quality to our customers worldwide, we use our own certification policy, whereby we award three types of certificates once the prescribed conditions have been met. They guarantee that the criteria defined by us in the security market are met.

Business Certificate entitles its holder to purchase the C4 System from Gamanet and also declares that such partner takes responsibility for the installation of the product at the end-user’s site. The second certificate issued by Gamanet is Technical Certificate, which has two categories - Administrator and Engineer. The Administrator Certificate declares that the holder can install and configure the C4 System and the Technician Certificate declares that the holder can correctly connect the relevant external device to the C4 System. In order to obtain both certificates, successful completion of the relevant technical training is a condition.

The last certificate issued is Compatibility Certificate. It is a business representation of the completed certification process and declares to third parties that Gamanet cooperates with the manufacturer of the external system and therefore guarantees the compatibility between the external device and the software itself. A representative of the manufacturer of the external system and a representative of Gamanet will test the individual features supported by the specific Plugin that connects the external system with our software product. The certification process also results in a certification protocol that declares the process from a technical point of view. It is a report of the test results of all functionality tests (mandatory, optional) specified in the integration manual. The certification protocol also describes the configuration of the external system, the types of tests performed and their results.
